This is my favorite Post Workout Meal when I’m not in the mood for a shake. Getting tons of protein is easy on a vegan diet. This plant based meal is made up of barley, black beans, mango, spinach, pecans and oranges. It is delicious and nutritious. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Recipe:
12 Cup Uncooked Barley
1 Cup Black Beans
Spinach
1 Orange
1 Mango
1/4 Cup Pecans

921 Calories

34g Protein, 155g Carbs, 23g Fat

Cook Barley First, then chill it for at least 30 Minutes. Use cold black beans or room temperature if from a can. Top with Mango, Orange, Pecans and Spinach.
